72 athletes from 22 countries attended the Gloria Cup 2019 Athletics Tournament that was held for the second time this year.
Prior to the World Athletics Championship to be held in Doha, successful athletes from many countries of the world competed in the tournament hosted by Gloria Sports Arena (GSA).
Racing in 200 mm in men, World and European Champion Ramil Guliyev became the winner of Gloria Cup Athletics again this year with a degree of 20.08. Ukrainian Serhıy Smelyk came in second and Churandy Martina ranked third. The athletes received their prizes from the CEO of Gloria Sports Arena, Elif Özdemir.
Abbas Abubakar from Bahrain became the winner with 45.24 in 400 meter in men, followed by Musa Isah from Bahrain, and Mohamed Nasser Abbas.
In the closely contested 400 meter hurdle race in men, the winner was from Russia /ANA, Timofey Chalyy with 49.41, followed by Rasmus Magi from Estonia with 49.59, and Tibor Koroknai from Hungary with 51.40.
In 100 meter in women, Krystsina Tsimanouskaya from Belarus ranked first with a timing of 11.47. Salome Kora came in second, and Olga Safranova came in third.
In 400 meter hurdle race in women, the winner was Sara Slott Pedersen from Denmark with 55.33, followed by Lea Sprunger from Switzerland, and Vera Rudakova from Russia /ANA.
Necati Er was the winner in triple jump with 16.56, whereas Selena Durna from Turkey came in first in Women Javelin Throw with a throw of 52.69, and Rolands Štrobinders ranked first in Men Javelin Throw with a throw of 79.32 meters. Annimari Korte from Finland was the winner of 100 meter hurdle race in women with a degree of 13.28, followed by Greta Kerekes from Hungary, and Ukrainian Hanna Plotitsyna.
Havin come in second in the world, Yulia Levchenko ranked first in the high jump with 1.95 followed by Irina Gerashchenko with 1.95. Marija Vukovic came in third.
