Organized by Turkish Golf Federation (TGF), the 2020 TGF Turkey Golf Tour began in Belek. The 1st leg of the tour, which consists of 10 legs in total, is played at the Kaya Palazzo Golf Club courses within Belek Tourism Center.
In the 1st leg of the tournament, a total of 21 players, nine of which are women, are competing from National AGGA, Istanbul Golf Club, Istanbul Youth Golf Academy, Serik BGA, Sueno Golf Club, National BGK, Bodrum, Kemer and Antalya Bahçeşehir golf clubs.
Golfers will play 54 holes for three days.
Taner Yamaç from National AGGA took the lead on the first day of the tournament, which was played at the Kaya Palazzo Golf Club courses at Belek Tourism Center, with a gross score of 66 (-5) in the men’s gross category. Can Gürdenli from Istanbul Golf Club took second place with a gross score of 69 (-2), while Orkunhan Kaplan from National AGGA took third place with a gross score of 71 (par).
In the women’s gross category, İrem Demir from Antalya Bahçeşehir came in first with a gross score of 76 (+5), while Petek Peker from National BGK came in second with a gross score of 77 (+6). Sude Bay from Kemer Golf Club and her club mate Mira İçgören shared third place with a gross score of 80 (+9).
The Belek leg of the tournament will end on Friday, January 20.
