Artyom Soloduha from Lithuania in men and Jordan Matthews from England in women won the competition.
ANTALYA (AA) - Minister of Youth and Sports Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu presented the awards to the athletes who ranked in the Ironman Triathlon held in Antalya.
In the races, which started with the swimming stage from the beach of Kadriye Beach Park in Belek Tourism Center, the athletes who swam for 1.9 kilometers reached the EXPO 2016 area by pedaling for 90 kilometers. The races were completed with the running stage in The Land Of Legends.
Artyom Soloduha from Lithuania took the first place with a time of 3 hours 53 minutes 32 seconds in men's. Jonathan Guisolan of Switzerland finished second and Henry James of England came third.
Jordan Matthews from England became the champion with 4 hours 19 minutes 13 seconds in women's. Melda Darvis from Turkey came in second and Çiğdem Tütüncü came in third.
Minister Kasapoğlu presented the awards to the winners at the ceremony held in the field in The Land Of Legends.
In the organization organized in cooperation with Turset Project Management and The Land Of Legends, approximately 1900 athletes from 85 countries competed.
